Top attenuator only – 4dBA rated A top attenuator only option is available across the compatible model range, selected when a smaller noise reduction is required.
Colours Standard powder coat matched to Mitsubishi unit body colour (recommended). Custom RAL colour available on request.

Each kit uses acoustic absorption to reduce noise at the two main sound emission points on a Mitsubishi unit — the inlet coils and the fan discharge.

Inlet Louvres

Fitted to each side of the unit that has an exposed inlet coil. As air is drawn through the louvre, the acoustic material absorbs sound before it radiates outward.

Top Attenuator

Fitted to each fan on the top of the unit. As air is discharged upward through the fan, it passes through the attenuator which absorbs the sound.

Mitsubishi units fitted with acoustic louvres and top attenuators

Result — combined full kit achieves 8dBA noise reduction (7dBA on CAHV and QAHV models). Top attenuator only achieves 4dBA.
